Short answer: No.
Sharing the one-time passcodes generated by a 2FA app will allow anyone to access your account if they already have your password. For this reason, you should never share the one-time passcode generated by your 2FA app.
However, if you feel that you must, we recommend that you only share the codes with someone if:
- You are talking face to face with that person while you share the code.
- You trust them with your account.
Do not assume that someone asking for the codes via text message or email is who they claim to be! Attackers do trick people into sharing 2FA codes with them.
